Let me tell you. I recently (very recently) bought a house and on the first day moving in I discovered a water issue. I got ahold of WTR Restoration and they showed up quick! Ben came in, figured out the issue and quickly got to work to correct it.
So if you have a water emergency in Selma, Schertz, San Antonio, or any other surrounding areas give him a call! 👏🏼👏🏼

I had a great experience with WTR. They were very responsive and great to communicate with. They came out and did a very thorough inspection and gave a very comprehensive estimate and breakdown. They had all the equipment ready to go and prevented any further damage. Glad to have done bussiness with them. Would hire again.

  • The tear-out process involves the removal of all water-damaged materials from your property. This can include flooring, drywall, insulation, and other materials that have been severely damaged by water. Our team will carefully remove these materials while minimizing further damage to your property.

  • WTR Restoration can work directly with your insurance company to streamline the claims process. We'll document the damage, assist with the preparation of necessary reports, and provide your insurance company with the detailed information they need to process your claim.

  • We understand that personal belongings are more than just items - they hold sentimental value. Our team will carefully assess all damaged contents to determine what can be salvaged. Salvageable items will be cleaned, sanitized, and restored. Non-salvageable items will be documented for insurance purposes.

  • Additional Living Expenses (ALE) is a type of coverage in homeowner's insurance policies that pays for the extra costs of living incurred by the policyholder if they are temporarily displaced from their home due to an insured disaster, such as water damage. This can include hotel bills, restaurant meals, and other living expenses. The specifics of ALE coverage can vary, so it's important to check your individual policy or speak with your insurance provider for details.

  • The length of the restoration process can vary depending on the extent of the damage and the size of the property. Once we've assessed the damage, we can provide a more accurate timeline. Our team works diligently to ensure the restoration process is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Yes, preventing mold growth is a crucial part of our water damage restoration process. After removing the water and drying your property, we thoroughly clean and sanitize the affected areas using professional-grade antimicrobial treatments.

  • Yes, WTR Restoration provides estimates for our water damage restoration services. After assessing the extent of the damage, we can provide you with a detailed estimate of the cost of restoration.

  • That depends on the types of materials that were affected by water. Drywall, carpet, and hardwood floors will take longer to dry than other materials in the space. We use moisture meters throughout the process and in many different locations to gauge the moisture levels and will continue to adjust our fans and dehumidifiers to achieve an efficient but effective dry time. The bare minimum of "three days to dry" may only produce a surface dry, but can still leave behind moisture levels that create an ideal environment for mold to grow.

  • Water damage insurance claims depend on several different factors. Ultimately, you'll need to clarify this with your insurance company. However, we can tell you that the feasibility of water damage insurance claims primarily depends on what caused the damage (storm, burst pipe, plumbing malfunction, localized flood, sump pump failure, etc.). Some insurance policies will outline scenarios that will NOT be covered without specific riders like flood insurance, or sump pump failure insurance.

  • The cost of repairing water damage can vary greatly depending on the extent and type of damage, the cost of any necessary replacements or repairs, and whether or not insurance will cover the costs. We provide detailed estimates to give you a clear understanding of the potential costs.

  • The process begins with contacting your insurance company to report the damage. You'll then need to document the damage with photos and detailed notes. It's advisable to contact a restoration contractor as well as your insurance adjuster simultaneously. The restoration contractor will help ensure that not only will the water extraction and dry out be covered, but also the rebuild process that should follow. If the full scope of the claim isn't outlined and agreed upon from the start, there may be issues down the line, and property owners may find themselves having to pay out of pocket to get the property completely back to normal.

  • Water damage insurance claims depend on several factors, including the cause of the damage. It's best to discuss this with your insurance company. However, contacting a restoration contractor and your insurance adjuster simultaneously can help ensure that all aspects of the restoration, including water extraction, dry out, and rebuild, are covered.
